Texas Station Closes Poker Room
Las Vegas has lost another poker room. Texas Station ceased its poker room operations this week. Texas Station, located on the Rancho Strip in North Las Vegas, is owned by Station Casinos. Others casino operations are not affected by this move.
Texas Station is the second poker room operated by Station Casinos to close this year. Sunset Station closed its poker room in May. Players may still deposit and withdraw for Ultimate Poker at these and all cashier cages operated by Station Casinos.
Station Casinos still operates five poker rooms in Las Vegas. These are located in Red Rock, Green Valley Ranch, Santa Fe Station, Palace Station, and Boulder Station.
Many small Las Vegas poker rooms have closed in the last couple of years. The last four Las Vegas casinos to open – Cosmopolitan, Cromwell, Downtown Grand, and SLS Las Vegas – did not include poker rooms.
