New Jersey iGaming win climbs 13.0% in September as partypoker revenue falls 47.5%
New Jersey's online casino market posted its third-highest monthly total in September 2026, with internet gaming win up 13.0% year over year. The poker-linked brands in the same report shrank or stalled, adding to signs that online poker is flat while the rest of iGaming grows.
- New Jersey internet gaming win was $274.8 million in September 2026, up 13.0% from $243.1 million in September 2025.
- Total internet revenue under the partypoker brand fell 47.5% to $919,486, while WSOP slipped 1.4% to $952,997; both figures include casino games.
- Statewide peer-to-peer poker win through August 2026 was $20,125,670, down 2.8% year to date.
- Year-to-date iGaming win through September reached $2.40 billion, 13.2% higher than the $2.12 billion recorded over the same stretch of 2025.
New Jersey’s internet gaming win reached $274.8 million in September 2026, up 13.0% from $243.1 million a year earlier, the Division of Gaming Enforcement reported Oct. 19. The poker-linked brands in the same report moved the other way. Revenue under the partypoker brand fell 47.5% to $919,486 from $1,750,617, and WSOP slipped 1.4% to $952,997 from $966,618, according to Elite Sports NY’s breakdown of the operator table. Those brand totals cover all internet revenue under each skin, casino games included, so they are not a pure poker measure. Still, the direction is hard to miss.
Online win outpaces Atlantic City floors and sportsbooks
September’s exact total of $274,782,098 is the third-highest monthly online figure the state has recorded, behind July 2026 at $276,948,219 and May 2026 at $276,262,067. It also marked a speed-up. August online win was $259.3 million, up only 4.4% year over year, the division’s Sept. 16 release showed. Through nine months, iGaming win stands at $2.40 billion, 13.2% ahead of the $2.12 billion recorded over the same stretch of 2025.
Atlantic City’s nine casino hotels won $227.8 million in person, 1.3% less than a year earlier, which left online gaming as the state’s largest revenue segment for the month, Intergame reported. The September 2025 in-person figure had been $230.7 million. Sports wagering gross revenue dropped 14.3% to $77.0 million. A year before, that line stood at $89.8 million. Gross revenue taxes from all gaming totaled $82.7 million for September and $756.8 million for the year through September. Among casino operators, FanDuel led with $57,767,862, up 2.1%, while BetMGM grew 16.7% to $35,366,088.
Peer-to-peer poker win was already down 2.8% through August
New Jersey is a founding member of the multi-state shared-liquidity compact, which makes its poker numbers a closely watched read on the wider US market. The division’s statewide peer-to-peer line, the cleaner poker read, was soft before September arrived. Poker win in August came to $2,557,705, down 3.2% from $2,642,778, according to the same Sept. 16 release. Over the first eight months of the year, that line added up to $20,125,670, trailing the prior-year pace by 2.8%.
PokerStars complicates any year-over-year comparison. The brand had $1,077,533 in September 2025 but no figure in the September 2026 operator table after moving onto FanDuel. The standalone PokerStars NJ site closed April 1, 2026, and returned the same day as PokerStars on FanDuel with new software and a three-state player pool, Pokerfuse reported. With April revenue of almost $770k, the relaunched site ranked as New Jersey’s largest online poker site that month. The outlet counts partypoker and Borgata as part of the BetMGM network in New Jersey and describes PokerStars NJ as the state’s largest single poker site, growing about 30% year over year.
Across the regulated US market, the trend looks similar. Pokerfuse estimated total regulated US online poker revenue at $8.8 million for August 2026, about 2% lower than a year earlier, with WSOP Online down 10% and BetMGM Poker down 16%. In Pennsylvania, online poker revenue for September was $2,270,481, down 1.76% from $2,311,202, while online slots grew 8.99% to $197,374,613, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported Oct. 20.
One expected entrant is still absent. BetRivers Poker was slated to launch in New Jersey in early 2026, but the launch has been delayed and no reason has been given.
