ACR Poker opened its OSS XL series on September 6 with a schedule of 336 tournaments spread across 24 days, carrying more than $50 million in combined guarantees, Card Player reports. The series runs through September 29.
Early events set the tone for the month. The opening slate included a $600,000 guaranteed tournament with a $630 buy-in, two separate $500,000 guaranteed events at $2,650 and $1,050, the $400,000 guaranteed Moneymaker at $109 and a $150,000 guaranteed Mystery Bounty at $66. The schedule also mixes in PKOs, 6-max formats, PLO and PLO8 events.
Three Main Events Worth $5 Million Combined
OSS XL closes with three Main Events carrying $5 million in combined guarantees. The largest offers a $2.5 million guarantee for a $2,650 buy-in, while a second guarantees $2 million for $1,050. Both use a Day 1A on September 20, a Day 1B on September 27 and Day 2 on September 28, with final tables set for September 29. A third Main Event lowers the entry point to $66 with a $500,000 guarantee, running Day 1 flights on September 13 and 20 before Day 2 on September 27. Satellites into that event start at $6.60.
Four multi-flight tournaments launched alongside the Main Events on September 6, adding another $2.225 million in guarantees. The largest is a $1.5 million guaranteed Main Multi-Flight at $630, with Day 1 flights running from September 6 through September 28 and Day 2 also on September 28. Three Mystery Bounty multi-flights round out the group: $500,000 guaranteed at $109, $150,000 guaranteed at $33 and $75,000 guaranteed at $5.50. The $109 event reaches Day 2 on September 21, while the $33 and $5.50 tournaments keep Day 1 flights open through September 27 before advancing.
Nosebleed Stakes And Leaderboard Races
From September 21 through September 28, ACR Poker will run 10 Nosebleed Stakes tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $5,000 to $25,000, a stretch that overlaps with the closing days of the multi-flights and the two highest buy-in Main Events. The series also features three leaderboard races paying out more than $60,000 in cash and tournament tickets combined. The High Leaderboard, covering buy-ins of $104.50 and up, pays $15,000 to first place. The Medium Leaderboard, for buy-ins between $16.50 and $88, pays $7,500 to the winner, and the Low Leaderboard, for buy-ins under $15, pays $4,000 to first.
Players can also qualify through The Beast, which will award OSS XL tickets throughout September including $1,050 and $2,650 entries, along with satellites feeding into events such as the $66 Main Event. ACR Poker, which has operated since 2001 and serves players across the United States and Latin America, closes the series on September 29 with the final tables of its two largest Main Events.
