Jared Bleznick Runs $40K Into Near $500K Stack in CoinPoker PLO Session
Jared “Theblez” Bleznick had a big weekend at the virtual felt. Playing in a specially arranged cash game lineup on CoinPoker, the high-stakes regular turned a $40,000 buy-in into a stack nearing $500,000 before the session ended, according to Card Player.
The four-max game ran at $200-$400 stakes with a $200 ante and rotated between three pot-limit Omaha variants: standard PLO, five-card PLO and six-card PLO. Bleznick’s opponents included Dirk “venividi1993” Gerritse, along with players known online as “Gisell54” and “yolof1.”
Card Player reports Bleznick finished up around $250,000 for the session, with most of his winnings coming at the traditional PLO table. At one point his stack topped ten buy-ins, pushing close to $500,000 on the table.
The $384,198 Pot Against Aces
The biggest hand of the day saw Bleznick straddle to $800 under the gun before a four-bet pot developed with Giselle54. After a raising war that saw Giselle54 make it $50,000, Bleznick called and the two went heads up to a board of K-7-6. Giselle54 potted with double-suited aces, and Bleznick shoved his $139,499 stack holding J-9-8-7 double-suited. He improved to a straight on the 5, and a blank on the river sealed a $384,198 pot in his favor.
A $258,108 Pot Off a Set
In a separate multi-way hand, Bleznick flopped top set holding 10-8-8-7 after limping into a pot with yolof1 and Giselle54 on a 10-8-3 flop. Yolof1 bet into the pot with a big draw, holding A-9-7-4, and eventually got the rest of his $114,054 stack in on the turn. The dealer ran three rivers, and yolof1 missed every one, sending the $258,108 pot to Bleznick.
Card Player’s report, published September 19 by Mo Nuwwarah, notes that Bleznick’s overall session was carried largely by these two hands, along with steady play across the shifting PLO formats throughout the day.
