New Jersey Releases December 2013 Internet Gaming Revenue Results

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement released December 2013 revenue numbers today. This is the first time New Jersey Internet gaming revenue has been announced.
New Jersey Internet gaming win was $7,388,672 in December. New Jersey online casinos and poker rooms won $8,368,837 when including November in the numbers. Borgata led the six licensed New Jersey sites in Internet gaming win.

Caesars Entertainment operates multiple brands under its licenses, including Atlantic City branded casinos, 888 and WSOP. Golden Nugget did not receive full approval to operate 24 hours a day until December 13, 2013.
Atlantic City Brick and Mortar Win
The 12 Atlantic City casinos posted December win of $207,107,665. This was a decrease of 7.4 percent over December 2012. Internet gaming win was not enough to offset this loss.
Atlantic City casinos posted a gaming win of $2.86 billion for all of 2013. This was a decrease of 6.2 percent over 2012.
Borgata led all Atlantic City casinos in gaming win. Trump Plaza was the worst performer in the market.
The Atlantic Club closed earlier this week after falling into bankruptcy. The property was acquired by Caesars Entertainment, while the casino equipment was purchased by Tropicana Entertainment. There are no immediate plans to operate the Atlantic Club as a casino or hotel. There are now 11 casinos operating in the Atlantic City market.
