PokerStars officially launched its new rewards system for players in American markets on Tuesday. The PokerStars Rewards program is now live and active for players in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Michigan.
Like the PokerStars Rewards system released on the international site last year, the new program took player feedback and insights into account. The system is designed to offer added value, more ways to earn, and increased transparency.
“We’re excited to bring our new PokerStars Rewards program to our community in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Michigan and give players more than ever before for playing with us,” PokerStars associate director of consumer engagement and public relations Rebecca McAdam said in a news release.
“We’ve been working hard to give our players the best program and from listening to community feedback, we know that value and transparency are key, so we’re very happy to launch a program that has truly been built with this at its heart.”
More opportunities for PokerStars players
Players on the PokerStars US platforms now have more chances at getting some bonuses. Site users in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Michigan can now earn up to 33% in rewards.
As Stars notes in a news release announcing the new program, “rewards starting at 15%, making the new program the richest and most rewarding in US poker.”
Players will find more ways to earn rewards including for all their play across all poker games. Bonuses can come from tournaments, cash games, and high stakes games and events.
Rewards are also earned for more than just poker. Sports and casino wagering also continues to earn rewards that are personalized to a player’s interests and games played.
Transparency is paramount
With the new system, transparency is critical for PokerStars. The company is hoping to accomplish this in several ways including:
- The new program is easier to understand.
- Players will know exactly where they are in the program at all times. Program targets and rewards that can be earned will always be available.
- Levels are clearly shown with a progress bar showing how many more chests remain to upgrade to the next level.
- There are six chest levels with lowest to highest as: Blue, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, and Black. Each level delivers a chest with a fixed rewards value.
Adding to efforts at improving the program
The PokerStars USA Rewards launch follows similar efforts on the international platform. The company believes the launch has been a success and received positive reviews.
The new program underwent a three-month trial before going live. Player feedback and reviews were a key part of the process.
Stars says this input was directly applied to improve the new system and have a positive impact for the PokerStars community.
“Our recent trial program was not only very positively received – overall we saw a 78% jump in satisfaction scores for the players participating, but it also gave us more ideas about how to make it even better,” PokerStars managing director Severin Rasset said.
“Working directly with our community has been hugely energizing for us and we’re happy that the new rewards program launching today has truly been built by our players for the players.”
