Tropicana Atlantic City Signs with Gamesys as iGaming Partner

We almost have a complete view of the online gaming landscape in New Jersey as yet another Atlantic City casino has signed with an online gaming partner. According to gamingintelligence.com, the Tropicana Atlantic City has signed a deal with Gamesys.

Gamesys is a UK based gaming company that been at the heart of some of Europe’s most popular social and real-money games. Two of its most successful partnerships were with Caesars Entertainment and the UK’s largest newspaper known as The Sun. Caesars Entertainment and Gamesys partnered to launch CaesarsCasino.com and their partnership with The Sun resulted in “The Sun Bingo!”, one of the largest bingo sites in the UK.

Tropicana’s partnership will allow Gamesys to offer their full array of online games to citizens of New Jersey. Gamesys is no stranger to breaking ground in regards to online gaming. They were the company behind the first real-money gambling games on Facebook, Bingo and Slots Frenzy. This new partnership will help them break ground in New Jersey later this year when they become one of the first online gaming companies to offer a full array of gambling products online in the United States.

The partnership with the Tropicana bring the total number of casinos that have partnered with an online gaming company to 10, leaving just the Atlantic Club and Revel as the lone two casinos in AC that have not signed an online gaming partner. The Atlantic Club was to have PokerStars as their partner, but when PokerStars was not able to get gaming commission approval by the first deadline in the contract, the Atlantic Club backed out of the deal. An appeals court upheld a lower courts decision earlier this week that will allow the Atlantic Club to seek a new buyer.
