Ultimate Poker Adds Pot Limit Omaha

Ultimate Poker added Pot Limit Omaha today.  The game is now spread in $.10/$.25 and $1/$2 limits with a buy-in of 50-100 big blinds.  The tables currently available are all 6-max.  An Ultimate Poker rep told the Two Plus Two forum that Omaha High/Low will be available shortly.

Omaha may be found in the cash game lobby.  These tables are marked with PLO next to the limits.  Omaha has yet to be added to the sit and go or multi table tournament lobby.

Today’s Ultimate Poker update also included red card backs.  These help players better identify which opponents are still in a hand.  There was an issue with the cards blending into the table in the previous version.  This made multi-tabling difficult for some players.

Ultimate Poker has brought back rebuy tournaments.  These were temporarily removed after being introduced in the last update.

According to data collected by PokerScout, traffic at Ultimate Poker has been in a gradual decline.  Meanwhile, traffic at WSOP is gaining momentum.  One issue that has held back Ultimate Poker is that it only offered Texas Hold’em.  The addition of new games could be exactly what Ultimate Poker needs to maintain its number one position in terms of regulated Nevada online poker traffic.
