Winning Poker Network Leaves Delaware, Nevada and New Jersey
The Winning Poker Network has stopped accepting action from players in three regulated states. Players in Delaware, Nevada and New Jersey received emails today from skins on the network with a statement telling them that they may not longer play for real money on the site. The statement to players acknowledged that regulated options in these states were the reason for the decision.
Players in these states have access to the cashier section of the site and may withdraw immediately. These skins include True Poker, Americas Cardroom, and Black Chip Poker.
All skins on the Winning Poker Network pay U.S. players in a timely manner. Players affected by this change should receive funds within one to two weeks, depending on the method.
This is not the first U.S.-facing network to leave regulated states. Merge Gaming left the Delaware and New Jersey markets in January and stopped accepting new Nevada players shortly after the launch of Ultimate Poker in 2013. The network forced all existing Nevada players to cashout in March 2014.
