A WSOP First: Online Bracelet Event Is Just Days Away

World Series of Poker Event #64 will be held on July 2 at noon. It will be the first bracelet event held over the Internet. Any player located in Nevada may participate. The buy-in is $1,000. Players can deposit by cash at casino cages at Rio in Las Vegas. Caesars, Harrah’s, Paris and Planet Hollywood will also accept cash deposits for WSOP.com.

You can also sign up here and get $10 free, with no deposit needed.

Cash is the best way to deposit for this event. WSOP.com deposit options available in the software typically have a limit of $400 per transaction, an amount set by the payment processor.

The event will be played online until it is down to six players. The tournament will pause at that point. This event will be completed live on July 4 at noon in the Amazon Room at Rio.

Concerns about WSOP.com username privacy resolved

There is some concern about the use of WSOP usernames that may expose a player’s true identity. This can happen either from a live appearance at the final table at Rio for Event #64 or through the Player of the Year race. Any player whose username is made public knowledge through either scenario will be permitted to change his or her online alias once the contest is completed.

Main Event 25 Seat Scramble

WSOP.com will hold a 25 Seat Scramble for seats in the $10,000 Main Event on July 5 at 3 p.m. The buy—in is $200. Players may reenter an unlimited number of times during the first three hours of the tournament. Late registration is also available for three hours.

Satellites to this event are now running. These satellites offer a $5 buy-in with $5 rebuys and add-ons. Each satellite guarantees at least one $200 seat to the 25 Seat Scramble.
