WSOP Online Bracelet Preview – Event #68: $1000 WSOP Online No-Limit Hold’em Championship
This week at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) has been an exciting one, with well over 6,000 entrants to the Monster Stack tournament and Phil Ivey going deep in the Poker Players Championship.
So, it’s fitting that there’s another great WSOP online event this weekend. It is a meat-and-potatoes event, to be sure, but those usually end up with big numbers and big prizes.

Event #68: $1000 WSOP Online No-Limit Hold’em Championship
This Sunday’s WSOP Online event is Event #68, the $1000 No-limit Hold’em Championship.
In fact, last year’s version of this event featured 1,635 entrants and a $1,553,250 prizepool. Illinois resident Ryan “Toosick” Tosoc took home the bracelet and $238,779 for 16 hours of work on the virtual felt.
There’s no reason to assume that this year’s edition will be any less grand. Early entrants to this event already include Dan Bilzerian and Yong “LUCKySPEWy1” Kwon, the latter of whom already won an online bracelet earlier this month.
Starting stacks for this event will be 20,000 in tournament chips, and blind levels will last 15 minutes. So, there should be plenty of time to make good decisions and get some play in this one.
If $1,000 seems a bit steep, there are some satellite opportunities available for cost-conscious players. They are:
- 10 Seats GTD – Event #68: $1000 WSOP Online No-Limit Hold’em Championship – June 29
- $50 buy-in
- 10 seats guaranteed to the event itself
- Unlimited rebuys allowed, but only one add-on
- Gold Bracelet Event Freeroll – June 28
- Open to players with Welcome Week freeroll tickets
- 1 seat to the winner
- VIP $1,000 Championship Online Bracelet Freeroll – June 29
- Open by invitation only
- 1 seat to the winner
WSOP has also opened a very special sit-n-go satellite that can run at any time. For $20, players can take one of 64 seats in the $1,000 Online Bracelet Seat ALL-IN Satellite.
To be clear, this event is a total gamble. The tournament will compel each player to be all-in on every hand of the contest until there is a winner.
However, there is a 1/64 chance that each player will receive a seat in Event #68. Furthermore, 7 other players will receive cash prizes.
So, each player has a 1 in 8 chance to turn a profit. Whether that’s worth $20 is a different question.
But, there’s no doubt that Event #68 will crown a very deserving winner. If it’s possible, make sure you don’t miss out.
