2017 Wynn Fall Classic Schedule Released

Wynn Poker in Las Vegas has released the schedule for its 2017 Wynn Fall Classic. The tournament series will begin on September 29th and feature over $1.3 million dollars in guaranteed tournaments.

The crown jewel of the Wynn Poker Fall Classic will be the $1500 + $100 buy-in main event, which carries a guaranteed prize pool of $500,000. The four-day tournament will begin on October 6th and close out the series in style.

This event is continuing to build its profile as a major tournament series. Two years ago, Joe McKeehen, the 2015 WSOP Main Event Champion, won this event and over $90,000 in cash when it had a $300k guarantee.

Obviously, he eclipsed his score from this tournament the following month. However, in both WFC Main Events since then (the 2016 and the upcoming tournament), the guarantee has reached half a million dollars.

The Wynn Fall Classic main event is not the only notable tournament

There are two other big tournaments coming in the series. The first is a $600 buy-in ($545+55) four-day event with a $200k guaranteed prize pool.

The other tournament is almost equivalent to the main event in prize and prestige. The European Open carries a $1,100 buy-in and a promise of $400,000 in the prize pool.

This tournament will also be live-streamed on Unibet as part of its live tournament tour. The European online poker site is planning to send 150 players to the event that have qualified exclusively through play on the site.

How and when to play to the Wynn Fall Classic

For players who wish to play either the European Open or the main event, but don’t feel like shelling out the full buy-in amount, Wynn Poker is offering super satellites. Two of the satellites have a $200 buy-in and will award seats in the European Open.

The other three super satellites have a $300 buy-in and promise entry into the main event. Both groups of satellites will offer entry for roughly 1 out of every 6 entrants.

Here is the schedule for the series (note: level times on the European Open increase after Day 1):
