Nick Schulman Wins Triton Jeju Main Event for $3,854,888
Nick Schulman closed out the Triton Super High Roller Series Jeju II with the biggest score of his career, according to Card Player. The 41-year-old American beat out 196 entries in the $100,000 buy-in no-limit hold’em main event at Les A Casino to collect $3,854,888.
The win came two days after Schulman finished runner-up in a $50,000 buy-in high roller at the same festival for $810,279, the sixth-largest payday of his career. Between the two results, Schulman added nearly $4.7 million to his lifetime tournament earnings, which now sit above $31.7 million, Card Player reports.
Bernhard Binder finished second in the main event for $3,080,112. Binder, the 2025 WSOP Paradise Super Main Event champion, had started the final table as the short stack before rebuilding on his way to the heads-up match.
The $19,600,000 prize pool was generated by the 196 entries at $100,000 apiece, with the top 31 finishers cashing. Two players busted simultaneously on the direct bubble, splitting the first payout of $173,000 into two shares of $86,500 for Samuel Mullur and Hannes Jeschka.
A string of well-known names fell before the final table, including Wiktor Malinowski (29th), Patrik Antonius (28th), David Coleman (27th), Alex Foxen (17th), Jessica Teusl (15th), Christoph Vogelsang (14th), Jesse Lonis (13th) and Danny Tang (10th, $359,000), who was eliminated when his pocket kings ran into trip sevens for Gytis Lazauninkas. Roberto Perez busted in ninth for $424,000, and Hustler Casino Live regular Wesley Fei took home the largest score of his career in eighth place. Xu Yang held the chip lead when the final table began, with Schulman sitting in the middle of the pack.
After the win, Schulman told Triton staff he was eager to get home.
“It’s pretty unbelievable. I really want to go home and see my wife. The champ is coming home soon, baby, get ready.”
Schulman’s Lead in the 2026 Player of the Year Race
The victory was Schulman’s second Triton title, following a short deck win at the same Jeju stop back in 2018. He also holds a World Poker Tour main event title and eight WSOP bracelets, the most recent coming this summer in a $1,500 H.O.R.S.E. event.
The Jeju win earned Schulman 1,680 Card Player Player of the Year points, presented by CoinPoker, putting him in the outright lead for 2026 with 7,556 points, 13 final tables and three titles on the year. He now holds a 58-point edge over second-ranked Punnat Punsri, who has reached 24 final tables in 2026. Schulman has cashed for more than $6.2 million across those 13 final-table appearances, including five at the 2026 WSOP, where he won the $10,000 deuce-to-seven triple draw championship and also finished runner-up in the same event. Binder’s deep run in Jeju was worth 1,400 POY points, putting him just outside the top 25 in the overall standings with two titles and five final tables this year.
