Delaware Lottery Posts February iGaming Revenue

The Delaware Lottery posted February iGaming numbers today.  The state won $166,454.76 in February 2014, up 13 percent over January.  The state registered 693 new players, down from 1,006 in January.  The total number of Delaware online gaming accounts is 5,689 through February 28.

Online table games saw a large increase in action and house win.  The state won nearly three times as much at its virtual blackjack and roulette tables in February than it did in January.  The $64,986 won at tables games was the result of a 3 percent hold. The virtual table game hold in January was just 2 percent.

Video Lottery, the designation for slots and video poker, recorded a net win of $27,496.  The hold was 4.3 percent.  This was much lower than the 7.2 percent hold in January.

Online poker rake decreased to $73,971, down from $88,390 in January.  February was the first time that the win from table games was higher than poker rake.

Delaware’s three racinos provide the skins for the state’s online gaming players.  Delaware Park’s revenue was more than two-thirds of the state’s posted revenue.  Dover Downs holds one-quarter of the market, while Harrington holds just 8 percent, according to February results.
