Delaware Releases April 2014 Internet Gaming Results
The Delaware Lottery announced the April results of its interactive gaming. Gross gaming revenue came in at $240,496. Table game revenue was $137, 205, up 31 percent over March. Slots posted a win of $29,214, up 6 percent from March. Poker rake during March was $74,078, down 12 percent from the previous month. There were 406 new player accounts created, down from 640 in the previous month.
Delaware Park holds a 75 percent market share, according to the report released by the Delaware Lottery. Dover Downs holds a 20 percent share, while Harrington holds just 5 percent of the market.

The Delaware Lottery has a 100 percent tax on the first $3.5 million in revenue each year. The market is not on pace to break that number, meaning 888 and the casinos will not profit anything off of the online gaming in 2014 unless revenue increases substantially or the tax rate is lowered.
