Players in New Jersey will be able to qualify for July’s $2 million guaranteed WPT500 at Aria in Las Vegas via PartyPoker, which is the presenting sponsor of the event.
The World Poker Tour-backed tournament scheduled for this summer features a buy-in of $565. It is the second straight year that the WPT will host the tournament in Vegas, but this year, the guaranteed prize pool has been doubled.

WPT vs. WSOP
For the second straight year, the WPT500 will go up against the World Series of Poker, although the timing should work out well for the majority of players.
The first of three starting flights for the $10,000 WSOP Main Event will take place on July 5. A $777 buy-in bracelet event starts on July 3.
Also at Aria during the WPT500 will be the Super High Roller Bowl, a $500,000 buy-in event taking place July 2-4.
