PokerStars Revamps Michigan-New Jersey Lineup With $1 Million on the Line Each Week; $500K for PA
Online poker players in Michigan and New Jersey now have even more to play for at PokerStars. After the launch of the shared market between the two states, the platform announced a complete tournament lineup on Friday that sees players battling for a share of $1 million in guarantees every week.
The new lineup includes a packed schedule of daily and nightly tournaments. Bigger guarantees are also coming to the Pennsylvania PokerStars platform.
“We are excited to announce that we will be guaranteeing $1 million per week across our tournaments for our shared Michigan and New Jersey pool,” PokerStars USA managing director Severin Rasset said in a news release.
“The combined liquidity of New Jersey and Michigan enables us to reinforce our weekly schedule with more tournaments available every day, a wider variety of buy-ins, bigger guarantees,I and giving our players the best available in the market.”
A look at the new PokerStars schedule
Players in the New Jersey–Michigan markets will find a host of daily tournament buy-ins from $5 to $250. The plan includes recurring nightly tournaments ranging from $25 to $50 buy-in. The new guaranteed prize pool gives PokerStars players even more rewards and games every day.
Since shared liquidity launched on Jan. 1, players have seen PokerStars’ largest guarantees to date in the US market.
“With more players, more tournaments and bigger prizes, the excitement keeps growing,” the company noted in announcing the new schedule.
Players in Pennsylvania are also in store for more. Stars announced a $500,000 guaranteed weekly prize pool for players in the Keystone State.

That includes the same tournament structure as in the other states (except for the start time of Nightly Stars which will be 6:30 pm for Pennsylvania). Here’s a look at what players can expect:
