Sean Winter collected a first prize of $620,000 after winning the final event of the 2026 Poker Masters, a result announced on Saturday, Oct. 24. The victory also extended his lead at the top of the season-long PGT standings.
The American’s title came in the last tournament on the 2026 Poker Masters schedule. It was his result that brought the series to a close, and it left Winter in first place on the PGT leaderboard with a bigger cushion than he held before the event.
Adrian Mateos claims the Purple Jacket
The series crowned its overall winner the same day. Adrian Mateos of Spain finished as the 2026 Poker Masters champion and claimed the Purple Jacket, which carried a first prize of $25,000. His result was announced on Saturday, Oct. 24, alongside Winter’s win in the final event.
Two other champions were crowned earlier in the week. Keith Lehr won Event #8 and took home $277,200. Jeremy Ausmus captured Event #7 for $278,400. Both of those results were announced on Wednesday, Oct. 21.
Four different names, then, collected first prizes across the closing stretch of the series. Winter, Lehr and Ausmus each won an individual event, while Mateos took the series-long Purple Jacket.
