How do social and sweepstakes casinos work?
Social and sweepstakes casinos combine traditional online casinos with social gaming features for a free gaming experience. These platforms use two types of currency: virtual coins (Gold Coins) and sweepstakes entries (Sweeps Coins).
You can use Gold Coins to play games for fun, as they have no real value. On the other hand, once you gather enough Sweeps Coins, you can exchange them for cash prizes or gift cards.
Clubs Poker is a sweepstakes platform for playing poker and casino games. Setting up tournaments and games is quick and easy. After signing up, you can create your own poker game or tournament. You can choose the blinds and starting stack of chips.
When you click “Create Game,” you’ll be taken to a virtual table where you can take a seat. Clubs Poker gives you a unique link to share with friends via email, SMS, or other methods to invite them to join your game.
How do I get Gold Coins at Clubs Poker?
As mentioned, Gold Coins are the currency you’ll use to play free games at Clubs Poker. There are plenty of ways to earn them:
- Welcome Bonus: When you sign up at Clubs Poker, you receive a bonus FREE Gold Coins as a welcome bonus.
- Daily Login Bonus: Clubs Poker offers players 2,500 Gold Coins as a daily login bonus. To claim this bonus, log in daily, go to the “Get Coins” section, and click “Collect Now!” The bonus resets at midnight ET, boosting your Gold Coins daily.
- Refer a Friend: The Clubs Poker’s referral program lets you earn Gold Coins by inviting friends. Share your unique referral link under “Profile > Refer-A-Friend” in the Poker client. You can earn up to 100,000,000 Gold Coins and 10,000 Sweeps Coins in total. The rewards depend on the rake generated by your friends, and there’s no limit to how many friends you can refer.
- Social Media Promotions: Clubs Poker often runs promotions and giveaways on social media, including Facebook, X (Twitter), and Instagram. You can find ways to win free Gold Coins by following their accounts.
- Purchase Bundles: These bundles include Gold Coins and bonus Sweeps Coins, providing excellent value. For example, buying a $10 bundle will give you a bonus Gold Coins and a bonus Sweeps Coins. This option is perfect if you want to enjoy more games.
How do I get Sweepstakes Coins at Clubs Poker?
Through the same ways you get Gold Coins at Clubs Poker, you can claim free Sweeps Coins through bonuses and promotions. Here are some of the ways you can boost your SC bankroll:
- Daily Login Bonus: Earn 0.20 Sweeps Coins every day by logging in and clicking the “Collect Now!” button in the “Get Coins” section. This bonus resets at midnight ET, making it easy to build up your Sweeps Coins balance daily.
- Refer a Friend: Invite friends to join Clubs Poker using your referral link. For every 10 Sweeps Coins your friends rake, you earn 2 Sweeps Coins. This ongoing bonus helps you earn more Sweeps Coins as your friends play.
- Social Media Promotions: Follow Clubs Poker on social media for exclusive promotions and giveaways. Enter contests and random giveaways to win more Sweeps Coins, keeping you engaged and boosting your balance.
- Purchase Bundles: Increase your Sweeps Coins balance by purchasing bundles that include bonus Sweeps Coins and Gold Coins. For example, a $10 purchase will give you a bonus Gold Coins and a bonus Sweeps Coins, 300% Extra Coins.
How do I get cash prizes at Clubs Poker?
To redeem cash prizes at Clubs Poker, you must first collect at least 50 Sweeps Coins (SC) to redeem, which equals $50 in real money.
If you live in New York or Florida, you can redeem up to $5,000 per month. Clubs Poker may also limit redemption requests to $1,000 per week.
Before redeeming your Sweeps Coins, you must use them in Promotional Play. This means you must play games using your SC and win according to the platform’s Terms of Use and Sweepstakes Rules.
Once you’ve met these requirements, you can start the redemption process:
- Verify Your Identity: You must complete the identity verification process, known as KYC (Know Your Customer). This usually means providing proof of identity and address.
- Initiate Redemption: Once your account is verified, go to the redemption section on the Clubs Poker platform.
- Select Amount: Select the number of Sweeps Coins you want to redeem, making sure it’s at least 50 SC.
- Confirm and Submit: Confirm your choice and submit your redemption request.
After you submit your request, Clubs Poker will process it and send the cash prize via your chosen payment method. Processing times can vary, so check the platform’s guidelines for specific details.
You can also redeem your Sweeps Coins for gift cards, giving you flexibility in receiving your winnings.
If you have any questions or need help, the Clubs Poker support team will assist you, so make sure to contact them through one of the contact channels.
Player rewards program
Currently, Clubs Poker doesn’t have a player rewards program. This can be a downside compared to other platforms offering continued play rewards. Many online poker sites and sweepstakes casinos have rewards systems that give players bonus coins, exclusive tournament entries, and other perks based on their activity.
Without a rewards program, Clubs Poker misses the chance to encourage long-term play and build player loyalty. Players who are used to getting rewards for their time and money on other sites might find this aspect of Clubs Poker needs improvement.
While the platform has a great variety of games and an easy-to-use interface, adding a player rewards program could significantly improve the overall experience and make it more competitive.
Clubs Poker mobile app
Clubs Poker currently doesn’t offer a mobile app, which some players might see as a drawback compared to competitors with fully optimized apps for seamless mobile gaming. However, Clubs Poker offers a well-optimized mobile browser experience to ensure players can enjoy games and services on the go.
You can access Clubs Poker easily through your mobile browser without downloading an app. The mobile site keeps the user-friendly layout of the desktop version. Key areas like the sign-up offer, tournaments, games, and support options are conveniently located at the bottom of the screen, making navigation simple even on smaller screens.
All games available on the desktop version, including poker tournaments and casino games, are accessible on the mobile site. The mobile site loads quickly and smoothly, with no significant loading issues or lags, ensuring a seamless gaming experience for uninterrupted gameplay.
For quick access, you can download the mobile site to your phone. This creates a shortcut on your home screen, working like an app but without taking up much storage space.
What games can I play at Clubs Poker?

Multi-table tournaments (MTTs)
Clubs Poker provides an excellent experience for multi-table tournament fans. Players can enjoy several tournament formats, including:
- Bounty Tournaments

Spin & Go’s are Clubs Poker’s version of jackpot sit-and-go tournaments. These offer a maximum jackpot of 300 times the entry fee, higher than many competitors. Entry fees range from 0.25 SC to 10 SC, with max wins from 75 SC to 3,000 SC.
Ring games
For ring game fans, Clubs Poker offers a selection beyond standard Hold’em games, including:
- Pot Limit Omaha (PLO)
- Omaha Hi-Lo

- 6 Card Omaha
- Seven Card Stud
- Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo
- HORSE
- 2-7 Single Draw
Many poker variations and features include Bomb Pots, Straddles, Rabbit Hunting, Run It Twice, and Bad Beat Jackpots. However, you should note that these games have a 5% rake on all Sweeps Coins tables.

Clubs Poker has All In or Fold ring game tables for fast-paced action. Players must go all-in or fold, making for quick and exciting gameplay.

Clubs Poker also offers over 100 slots and card games for players who enjoy different types of gaming. Popular titles include:
- American Blackjack

Clubs Poker player support
Clubs Poker offers several ways for players to get help, though the options are somewhat limited compared to other operators:
- Email Support: You can send your questions to [email protected], and a support team member will reply. In our experience, email support is very efficient.
- Social Media: Clubs Poker is active on social media, including Facebook, Instagram, and X (Twitter). While email is the primary recommended contact method, you can also send a direct message (DM) on social media for extra support.
- Blog and Tutorials: Besides direct support, Clubs Poker has a blog that offers valuable information and resources. The blog includes video tutorials from founder Taylor Crane, which are great for new players who want to learn about the platform and improve their skills.
Clubs Poker history
ClubsPoker.com is a new online poker site that launched in early July 2024. It is owned and operated by KHK Games, Inc., a company based in Philadelphia, PA. The platform aims to offer a fresh and engaging experience for online poker fans.
Since launching, Clubs Poker has focused on offering a wide range of poker games and tournaments for both casual players and serious competitors. The site features unique options like Spin & Go’s, All In or Fold tables, and various ring games, which set it apart from other online poker sites.
Clubs Poker’s obvious comparison on the social poker market is Global Poker. Time will tell if the newer site can live up to the large player community and established reputation of Global Poker.
Clubs Poker restricted states
Clubs Poker runs under promotional sweepstakes law, so where you can play depends on each state’s rules, and that list changes often. These states have passed laws covering online sweepstakes casinos:
- California: AB 831, in force from January 1, 2026
- New York: AB 6745, in force from December 5, 2025
- New Jersey: A 5447, in force from August 15, 2025
- Connecticut: SB 1235, in force from June 11, 2025
- Montana: SB 555, in force from May 12, 2025
- Indiana: HB 1052, in force from July 1, 2026
- Iowa: SF 2289, signed May 15, 2026
- Maine: LD 2007
- Louisiana: HB 883 and HB 53, signed in May 2026
- Tennessee: SB 2136, signed May 22, 2026
- Oklahoma: SB 1589, in force from November 1, 2026
Nevada, Washington, Idaho and Michigan are also excluded by most operators, and the map keeps moving, so check the operator’s terms for your state.
Clubs Poker’s operator, KHK Games, has added West Virginia, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and California to the restricted territories in its terms, on top of the states it already excluded.
The operator’s own terms always carry the current list of excluded states, and that list is the one that decides whether you can play. Read it before you register or buy a coin package, and never use a VPN to get around a state block, since that breaks the terms and can void any prize.
Real-money online casinos are legal and licensed only in New Jersey (Division of Gaming Enforcement), Pennsylvania (Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board), Michigan (Michigan Gaming Control Board), West Virginia (West Virginia Lottery), Connecticut (Department of Consumer Protection, Gaming Division), Delaware (Delaware Lottery) and Rhode Island (Rhode Island Lottery). If you live in one of those states, a state-licensed site from our online casino guide gives you the protection of a gaming regulator, which a sweepstakes site does not.
Play responsibly at Clubs Poker: age limits and help
You must be 18 or older to play at Clubs Poker, and the operator checks your identity before it pays out a cash prize. Free coins do not change the fact that buying coin packages costs real money, so set a budget before you start and use the purchase limits, time-outs and self-exclusion tools in your account settings.
