Big Month Planned for WSOP.com With $1 Million Online Circuit, Spring Online Championship Series

The World Series of Poker’s online site launches the next Online Circuit Series from May 13-24. WSOP.com hosts 12 championship ring events with more than $1 million in guaranteed prizes.

This prize pool is open to the shared player pool in the New Jersey and Nevada markets. The highlight is the $525 Main Event, set for May 22 with a $250,000 guarantee.

Separate from this series, online poker players in Pennsylvania and Michigan have their own ring series to check out.

Beyond the ring races this month, WSOP.com has also launched the annual Online Spring Championships with buy-ins for every bankroll.

Pennsylvania has $500,000 up for grabs

An additional 12 rings are destined for online poker players in Pennsylvania in May. The series also runs May 13-24 with the New Jersey and Nevada series but with different guaranteed payouts. The entire series guarantees $500,000.

Pennsylvania remains a “ringed-in” market. That means players compete only against others in the state and must be located within the state’s borders.

Michigan also runs monthly series

The Online Circuit Series also heads to Michigan from May 13-24 with $500,000 in guaranteed prize pools. Players received good news in April that the state is joining the interstate compact with New Jersey, Nevada, and Delaware.

No announcement or time frame has been announced yet. The $525 Main Event in the upcoming series comes with a $100,000 guarantee. Here’s a look at the complete upcoming series.

Tournament of Champions $1 million freeroll on the horizon for winners

Recreational players and pros are all trying to get their hands on a ring before July. The WSOP will award all 2022 bracelet and ring winners, live or online, with a ticket for the Tournament of Champions event.

The $1 million freeroll event is set for July 18 in Las Vegas as the final event on the WSOP summer schedule.

April championship ring winners

Four-time WSOP bracelet winner and 2009 Main Event Champion Joe Cada won his first ring recently. Cada has become the official Michigan WSOP.com ambassador and has now booked his ticket to the Tournament of Champions.

Spring Online Championships also underway

Players in each legal state also have a chance to play in the Spring Online Championships this month. The series runs through May 15 and buy-ins range from $30 to $1,000.

Guarantees will vary per state. The $320 Main Event in New Jersey/Nevada is set for May 15 and includes a $200,000 guarantee. The winner also earns an exclusive WSOP championship belt.

WSOP.com offers three events daily during the series. No Limit Hold’em is the featured format, but Omaha and Omaha Hi/Lo are included as well.

Players will have 46 events to pick from and tournament types include bounty events, progressive knockouts, deepstacks, and freezeouts.
