Partypoker US Network Continues Online Series In September For MI, PA Players
Partypoker US Network is kicking off the fall with another Online Series for players in Michigan and Pennsylvania. The site is offering multiple events with solid guarantees in each state on the BetMGM and Borgata Poker skins from Sept. 19-26.
Players in both states have their own series in September, which run independent of each other. Players don’t have to be a resident but must be physically located in the state they are playing poker.
Here’s a look at the partypoker poker skins in each state:

Michigan Online Series at a glance
The Online Series brings 10 events to players in Michigan with $235,000 in guaranteed prize pools. Multiple tournament types are planned including Pot Limit Omaha, turbos, and the popular progressive knockout (PKO) tournaments.
PKOs are a spin on the traditional bounty tournament. When a player eliminates an opponent, that player cashes in 50% of the opponent’s bounty. Those funds go directly into the winning player’s account.
The other half of the opponent’s bounty is added to the bounty on the winning player’s head. Every knockout the player wins, the larger the price becomes on his own head.
Players like PKO events because of the extra bonus each time they take a player’s stack.
The Online Series $1,060 Main Event is set for Sept. 26 with a $50,000 guarantee. Some other highlights include:

- $215 NLHE Eight-Max PKO (Event 3, Sept. 20) – $20,000 guaranteed

Last month, “Krushyourdreams” put the competition to sleep by taking down the $535 championship in Michigan for $19,042. “Zzulran” also cashed in the event, finishing eighth to cap an impressive week on the site.
Zzulran cashed in four Online Series events and took down the Sunday $40,000 guaranteed tournament. That all accounted for over $14,000 in winnings for the week on BetMGM.
