Players can play in special online events for free and win real prizes at Global Poker. Freerolls and satellites are available on the site beginning Aug. 12. The entire series runs Aug. 23 to Sept. 5 with overall guarantees of 1 million Sweeps Coins (SC) and 500,000,000 Gold Coins (GC).
The partnership comes after Global became a presenting sponsor for the USPO’s television coverage on NBC Sports Network. The network began airing episodes of the tournament series on Monday.
“PokerGO is pleased to take its partnership with Global Poker to the next level,” PokerGO President Mori Eskandani said in a news release.
“With the online US Poker Open series on Global Poker running alongside the premiere episodes on NBC Sports Networks, poker enthusiasts will have an elevated viewing experience that includes being able to both watch and play the USPO at the same time.
