Lords of the Rings: WSOP.com Kicks Off 2023 with $1.3 Million Online Circuit Series; $260K in PA, MI
WSOP.com is starting off the new year with the first Online Circuit Series of 2023, featuring $1.3 million in guaranteed prizes across regulated states from Jan. 6-17. Online poker players will find 12 championship rings up for grabs.
The series is available in the Nevada/New Jersey combined market with separate festivals running in Pennsylvania and Michigan. Those tournaments will also run on the same dates with another 12 rings on the line and $260,000 guaranteed in each state.
WSOP.com Online Circuit Series preview
January may be cold in the northeast but the action is hot at WSOP.com The $525 Main Event heats up on Jan. 15 and features a $200,000 guarantee for players in New Jersey and Nevada.
Pennsylvania and Michigan will see that event on the same date with $50,000 guaranteed. Most events feature No Limit Hold’em with a few Omaha tournaments as well. Other highlights include:
- $215 NLHE Deepstack (Event 1, Jan. 6) – $40,000 guaranteed in NJ/NV, $15,000 in PA and MI
- $215 NLHE Monster Stack (Event 3, Jan. 8) – $100,000 guaranteed in NJ/NV only
- $$500 NJ/NV, $215 PA/MI PLO (Event 6, Jan. 11) – $40,000 guaranteed in NJ/NV, $15,000 in PA and MI
- $1,000 NLHE High Roller (Event 12, Jan. 17) – $75,000 guaranteed in NJ/NV

Tournament of Champions
Five months remain for players to get into the WSOP Tournament of Champions. The $1 million freeroll is for all 2022-23 bracelet and circuit ring winners, live or online.
The event will take place in Las Vegas during the World Series of Poker. Complete details aren’t available yet. Stay tuned to USPoker for updates.
December Online Circuit winners
One highlighted tournament last month saw YouTuber Ethan “Rampage” Yau grab his fourth ring in event 12 along with $45,722 . Matt Stout won his eighth ring and over $14,488 on his off day from a major event.
In Michigan, Jason “1WinAtAtime” Johnson scored his first ring and $17,987.
Also in the Wolverine State, KC Vaughan secured two rings in two days for a total of about$11,000. Some other December Online Circuit winners include:
