Partypoker US Network Rolls Out More Online Series For August
The partypoker US Network is closing out the summer by offering another monthly Online Series for players in New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.
Each state will have its own festival in August with some nice-sized guarantees as well. Here’s a look at the partypoker online poker skins in each state that will be hosting the events:
- New Jersey – partypoker, BetMGM, Borgata Poker
- Pennsylvania – BetMGM, Borgata Poker
- Michigan – BetMGM
Over $200,000 guaranteed in New Jersey
New Jersey players have 11 events on the menu in August. The series runs Aug. 8-15 with $240,000 guaranteed across all tournaments.
The largest event of the series takes place on Aug. 15 with a $535 buy-in and a $50,000 guarantee. On Aug. 11, the popular progressive knockout (PKO) event is back this month.
In a PKO tournament, whenever a player is knocked out only a part of his bounty goes to his opponent. The other portion is placed on the winning player’s head.
The more a player eliminates other players, the more that player’s own bounty is valued. Some other highlights from the New Jersey series include:

$50,000 freeroll returns to NJ in August
On Aug. 29, New Jersey players will have a chance to play in the $50,000 Invitational Freeroll. Players can win entries by simply playing online.
Those earning 50 reward points playing poker in August receive a free entry. The $50,000 will be shared by the top 215 finishers.
The top 10 winners receive a $3,500 satellite seat into the online WPT Borgata Poker Open Main Event on Sept 19. Stay tuned to USPoker for more upcoming details about the WPT series.
Michigan Online Series preview
The Wolverine State series is upping the ante this month by offering over $300,000 in guaranteed prize pools. All three markets are “ringed-in” environments, meaning players only compete with others within that state.
The Michigan Online Series runs Aug. 15-22 with $330,000 guaranteed. The $1,060 main event is set for Aug. 22 with a $100,000 guarantee.

“Even though I live near a casino, I haven’t gone much since the pandemic happened” says Bill Cannon, a poker player from Bensalem, PA. “Having some decent tournaments online as an option has been nice.”

July partypoker winners
In July, Yong “IreadYRSoul” Keun came up big during the New Jersey Online Series. Keun took first place in two events for a combined $24,549.
Ryan “SimISgg” Hagerty also had a big month in New Jersey, winning the No Limit Hold’em Eight-Max for $7,807.
In Michigan, “Hammanator” notched a nice heads-up win in Event 9, topping “Scotty2012”. Scotty is the current top-ranked online grinder in the state. Hammanator outlasted 451 players and scored $8,062.
