Pumpkins & Poker: Partypoker Online Series Returns To NJ, PA, MI With Some Halloween Hold’em And More
Partypoker US Network is offering some scary prize pools in October for players in New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. Each state hosts its own Online Series with some monster guarantees as well.
Here’s a look at the partypoker online poker skins in each state hosting events:

The Garden State kicks off series for partypoker US Network
New Jersey players will have the chance to grab up to $175,000 in guaranteed prize pools. The series runs Oct. 17-24 with nine events and buy-ins ranging from $20 to $535.
Players will find a $535 progressive knockout bounty (PKO) main event on Oct. 24 with a $50,000 guarantee. Besides the PKO, the site will showcase Pot Limit Omaha (PLO), turbo, deepstack, and six-max events.
In a PKO tournament, when a player is knocked out, only a part of his bounty goes to his opponent. The other portion is placed on the winning player’s head.
The more a player eliminates other players, the more that player’s own bounty is valued. For the $50,000 event, player bounties start at $250 each.
“I can’t make it to Vegas this month,” says Larry Abele, a poker player from Riverside, NJ. “So having some solid online tournaments will give me some events to look forward to.”

Michigan Online Series preview
The Wolverine State’s Online Series is creeping up and offering over $230,000 in guaranteed prize pools. All three markets are “ringed-in” environments, meaning Michigan online poker players only compete with others within that state.
The Michigan festival runs Oct. 24-31 with the $1,060 main event set for Halloween (Oct. 31) with a $50,000 guarantee. Some other highlighted Michigan events include:
