Partypoker Releases Complete WPT Online Series Schedule, More Than $1M Guaranteed
The partypoker US Network partners with the World Poker Tour in New Jersey again in September as part of its regular Online Series. Along with details on the WPT Online Borgata Poker Open, the platform has officially released the entire schedule.
The series runs Sept. 12-19 with players taking a shot at over $1.1 million in guaranteed prizes. All online events are available to players in the New Jersey market.
Four-time WPT champion Darren Elias is pleased to see another tour event coming to the state online.
“Great to see WPT hosting a $3,500 Main Event on partypoker US Network,” he noted on Twitter. “With many live events postponed, (I’m) expecting a lot of players to travel to NJ and blow this guarantee away.”
Inside the partypoker WPT Online Series
The partypoker network has been promoting an Online Series each month with some nice guarantees. That continues with the upcoming festival, but with the WPT main event attached as an added bonus.
Currently New Jersey players can play these online events through three skins:
- partypoker
- BetMGM
- Borgata Poker
The $3,500 WPT main event is set for Sept. 19 with a $1 million guarantee. The event offers players a shot to add their name to the Mike Sexton WPT Champions Cup.
The entire Online Series offers 12 events including knockout, heads-up, and six-max. All events feature No Limit Hold’em with the exception of one Omaha tournament on Sept. 14. Other highlights from the New Jersey series include:
- $535 Eight-Max (Event 1, Sept 12) – $50,000 guaranteed
- $109 Half-price 8-Max (Event 2, Sept 12) – $35,000 guaranteed
- $109 Pot Limit Omaha (Event 5, Sept 14) – $10,000 guaranteed
- $535 Heads-Up ( Event 6, Sept 15)
- $535 Eight-Max PKO (Event 8, Sept 16) – $25,000 guaranteed

Plenty of qualifiers planned
If $3,500 is a bit too much out of the bankroll, NJ players will have the opportunity to “spin it up.” The site’s Spin the Wheel bonus promotion runs daily through Sept. 19 on all three partypoker New Jersey skins.
“I won a $109 tournament ticket on the first night I used the spins,” says Brian Keane, a poker player from Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. “So I am going to make a reminder to log on each night to spin.”
Each day a player logs into the site, he or she earns a chance to spin a wheel and win a prize. Some players can expect to win prizes like WPT main event satellite tickets. Other wheel prizes include:
- Hot Cash bonuses – $5 and $10
- $5 Spin tournament tickets
- Satellite qualifiers – $5 and $45
- Tournament tickets – $109 and $215
Party also offers a $320 mega satellite seat giveaway on Sept. 18. This tournament guarantees at least five WPT seats to the Main Event the following day.
Last month partypoker ran the $535 Online Series Main Event with a $50,000 guarantee. New Jersey online regular Anthony “upayformypennys” Pagan took down first place and $15,045.
Pagan faced a tough final table that included top-notch players such as Michal “Gags30” Gagliano, Brownmagic, and Mj23Style.
