Las Vegas for Ladies: A Complete Guide to This Summer’s Women-Only Poker Tournaments (Updated 5/18)

Poker tournaments geared toward female players have become more popular in recent years and numerous ladies events are on tap this summer in Las Vegas.

Along with the annual ladies championship at the World Series of Poker, multiple properties around Sin City are offering ladies-only events.

A notable highlight will be the LIPS (Ladies International Poker Series) tour. The series was founded in 2004 with the goal of promoting women in poker and introducing more women to the game. LIPS will host multiple events at MGM Grand, the WSOP, South Point, and Venetian.

Women will find a tournament to fit every bankroll around Las Vegas this summer. Buy-ins range from $150 to $1,000 for these special events. Here’s USPoker’s complete guide for ladies events this summer.

“It feels amazing,” Eisenberg told USPoker after her win. “I try to only set process goals and not outcome goals that I have no real control over, like winning a bracelet. But it feels great to have won a major tournament and have that reward for putting in the work.”

LIPS will host a $150 warm-up event for that tournament on June 28. Players start with 15,000 chips and can expect 20-minute levels. It may not be for a bracelet, but offers a good chance for women to jump into the action at a bargain price.
