New Jersey Reports April Gaming Revenue

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement released revenue numbers for its Atlantic City casinos and related internet sites. Atlantic City gaming revenue dropped 1.8 percent in April over the previous year. Atlantic City casinos raked in $224.4 million last month, down from $228.5 million in April 2013. This includes last year’s numbers for Atlantic Club, which ceased operations in January 2014.
Online gaming accounted for $11.4 in revenue in April, down from $11.9 million in March. Poker rake dropped from $3.2 million in March to $2.6 million in April. The win from house games increased from $8.7 million in March to $8.9 million in April.

Borgata’s market share increased 2.5 percent over March. Caesars, which includes WSOP and 888, saw a 1.4 percent drop in market share. Ultimate Poker lost 1.2 percent of its share. Trump Plaza and Betfair raked $25 last month but posted $0 in rake for its poker site in April.
