WSOP Main Event Final Table Betting Odds
The November Nine meets today at Rio Las Vegas to complete the 45th World Series of Poker’s Main Event. The final table action will air on ESPN2 at 5pm local time (8pm ET) on Monday. There will be a 30-minute delay. Tuesday’s WSOP Main Event programming will air on ESPN with the same delay. If you will be watching these broadcasts, make sure to avoid Twitter as it will be full of spoilers posted by those in attendance.
While the players will be competing for over $28 million, there is a way for others to make a little cash on the results. Rio is among the sports books that are offering odds on the winner of the WSOP Main Event.
Rio is the most convenient place to place a wager on the final table. It is a short walk from the Penn & Teller Theater. The odds offered as of 11pm Sunday night at Rio are shown below in U.S. money line format. The number represents the amount that would be won for every $100 wagered. The player’s chip count going into the final table is in parenthesis.
- Jorryt van Hoof: +300 (38,375,000)
- Mark Newhouse: +300 (26,000,000)
- Felix Stephensen: +350 (32,775,000)
- Daniel Sindelar: +350 (21,200,000)
- Andoni Larrabe: +550 (22,550,000)
- Billy Pappaconstantinou: +600 (17,500,000)
- William Tonking: +700 (15,050,000)
- Martin Jacobson: +800 (14,900,000)
- Bruno Politano: +1200 (12,125,000)
Two players have lower odds than opponents with a bigger chip stack. Another important note is that the house edge on the futures offered at Rio is 35.66%, according to the Wizard of Odds sports futures calculator. The three offshore sites we surveyed – BetOnline, Bovada and Pinnacle – averaged a house edge of 16.83%.
William Hill offered WSOP Main Event final table odds through its mobile betting app over the weekend. The numbers were taken off the board late Sunday night. WSOP odds were not available on any Nevada sports betting apps overnight.
Caesars Entertainment does not offer a Nevada sports betting app. All WSOP wagers made with the company must be placed in person.
