Table Talk: Kyna England Lands Ambassador Role With ClubGG Online Poker After Huge Year
The US online poker industry continues to grow and that success now apparently goes for the world of subscription- and sweepstakes-based poker sites.
ClubGG, the US subscription arm of GGPoker, recently announced the signing of Kyna England to represent the brand. The continued additions to the US online ambassador ranks may be a good sign for the market. England now becomes the latest to take the poker spotlight for an online brand.
“I’m the first live poker ambassador for ClubGG,” she says. “I play on there and am a big advocate for the site. It’s super fun so I am glad to have this opportunity.”
England recently spoke with USPoker about her new role with ClubGG and her own poker life.

Despite being fairly new to the game, the 37-year-old poker player originally from Northbrook, Illinois, and now living in Las Vegas, has found plenty of success at the tables. She has $840,953 in live tournament winnings including one World Series of Poker Circuit rings from a 2020 ladies event in Wisconsin.
Her biggest score came in June at the World Poker Tour’s $5,000 Venetian event, where she took third for $448,755. She also won the $1,110 Minnesota Winter Poker Classic on the Mid-States Poker Tour in 2021 for $186,709.
Before taking up poker full time, England worked in project management in the learning/development and corporate training areas. She’s now excited to be representing ClubGG and playing the game she loves.
“I think this is an amazing opportunity to have been given after only about two years of playing poker,” she says. “I’m excited and nervous at the same time. But I always say it’s good to be nervous because that means it’s important.”
Thanks everyone for the nice messages! I’m super excited to be part of the @ClubGG_Poker team! 😊😊😊 https://t.co/S6W4Keq0Lj

England began playing poker when a female roommate in college taught her. Two years ago she began taking the game even more seriously after making the final table of an Aria tournament while in Las Vegas.
“I realized that I still loved poker,” she said in a ClubGG video announcing her signing. “I was really passionate about it and wanted to pursue it further.
“Then came the pandemic and I worked on my game online and sharpened my skills. I studied a lot and I realized I don’t want to go back to the office and work nine to five. I would rather play poker.”
More tournament play on ClubGG & a new life in poker
As part of her new role, England will be a regular player on ClubGG. The site offers numerous qualifying opportunities to much larger live tournaments. England said even more is coming with the ClubGG app, she adds.
Outside of the game, England enjoys hiking, traveling, watching movies, and meeting new people. She also enjoys trying new restaurants and cuisines.
“I used to be really into powerlifting and bodybuilding but these days I’m just focusing on being happy and healthy,” she says. “I do hope to get back into that someday though.
“Right now I’m just seeing where life takes me. I have some trips planned and hopefully more exciting events to come in the next year. But I will probably focus on spending time with family and friends at the end of the year for the holidays. I miss all my people back in the Midwest.”
More poker is also on her horizon as well. England works as an instructor for the Poker Power training site, which is geared toward female players. She’ll also continue working on her game and hopes to see others at the tables online.
“Check out ClubGG and Poker Power (training site),” she says, “if you are looking to grow your game and improve your skills.”
